Alliance Broadband Kolkata New Tariff Plans [w.e.f. April,2017]

I am an Alliance Broadband User myself. While I was testing my Jio Internet speeds with Ookla today, I decided to test my broadband speeds also. After all, Jio Free Services are ending very soon, and I will be again primarily dependent on my Wifi connection. And I was totally shocked with the result.

Alliance Broadband Kolkata New Tariff Plans [w.e.f. April,2017]Holy Shit! How did I get 7Mbps Internet Speed on my 1.5Mbps Connection which I subscribed for?

I quickly ran through the tariff plans of Alliance Broadband again. And, to my surprise, I found that they were updated and the latest tariffs are simply out of the world.

With the end of Jio Free Internet via their Happy New Year Offer, now the users need to pay for their internet usage or get discounted rates via Jio Prime. Telecom Operators and Broadband Service providers have taken this opportunity to introduce new offers and tariffs at dirt cheap prices.

While Act Fibernet recently launched their 1Gbps broadband internet connection with 1TB FUP per month, Alliance Broadband Kolkata has announced their most affordable ever broadband plans for the city. Not only Kolkata, but these low-cost plans are also competitive with any other broadband service provider across the country.

Let’s check them out quickly.

Every other broadband providers limit the data usage by reducing speeds after a specific amount of quota usage, which falls under their Fair Usage Policy (FUP). But Alliance Broadband never does that.
